The Vitruvian Physio was founded to provide innovative physical therapy services in a individually tailored and specific way. This redefined approach to physical rehabilitation is designed for each patient outside of the confines and restrictions of group insurance or medicare guidelines. By providing only what each patient specifically needs in one to one treatment sessions, the patient is able to progress, heal, and return to life sooner.
How We Can Help You
Come visit us at any one of our 2 locations and see the difference. We offer a free phone consultation or an onsite evaluation for a fee without a referral. However, a physician's referral is required to begin treatment (See PT Referral Form). If you do not have a referring physician, we can assist you in finding one.

We specialize in treating musculoskeletal-related injuries through a variety of evidence-based treatment options by highly trained clinicians:
The use of skilled passive techniques where the therapist applies a specifically directed manual impulse, or thrust, to a joint, at or near the end of the passive (or physiological) range of motion.
Spinal manipulations can relieve back pain by taking pressure off sensitive nerves or tissue, increase range of motion, restoring blood flow, reducing muscle tension, and, like more active exercise, promote the release of endorphins within the body to act as natural painkillers.

The use of a thin filiform needle requiring skilled intervention to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of
neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.
Dry needling (DN) is a technique used to treat dysfunctions in skeletal muscle, fascia, and connective tissue; by diminishing persistent peripheral nociceptive input, and reducing or restoring impairments of body structure and function leading to improved activity and participation.

Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
The use of ergonomically designed instruments used to treat fascial restrictions, encourage rapid localization and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration.

Kinesiology taping (KT) is a therapeutic tool used to address proprioceptive facilitation; reduced muscle fatigue; muscle facilitation; reduced delayed-onset muscle soreness; pain inhibition; enhanced healing, such as reducing edema, and improvement of lymphatic drainage and blood flow.

Vitruvian Movement Analysis/Functional Movement Screen (FMS)
Identify potential movement impairments and asymmetries limiting your performance both on and off the field/gym/office.
Individualized assessments are conducted to recognize joint, soft tissue, and/or motor control limitations acting as only barriers to you reaching your full Vitruvian potential.
Supporting Evidence: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23190584
Perform office and non-office ergonomics assessments, with the focus on identifying potential risk factors for injury and determining solutions to reduce work-related injuries and company injury costs using OSHA ergonomics assessment tools.
