  • Treatment

We specialize in treating musculoskeletal-related injuries through a variety of evidence-based treatment options by highly trained clinicians:

    broken image

    Spinal Manipulation

The use of skilled passive techniques where the therapist applies a specifically directed manual impulse, or thrust, to a joint, at or near the end of the passive (or physiological) range of motion.

Spinal manipulations can relieve back pain by taking pressure off sensitive nerves or tissue, increase range of motion, restoring blood flow, reducing muscle tension, and, like more active exercise, promote the release of endorphins within the body to act as natural painkillers.

    Dry Needling

The use of a thin filiform needle requiring skilled intervention to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of
    neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments.

Dry needling (DN) is a technique used to treat dysfunctions in skeletal muscle, fascia, and connective tissue; by diminishing persistent peripheral nociceptive input, and reducing or restoring impairments of body structure and function leading to improved activity and participation.

    Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

The use of ergonomically designed instruments used to treat fascial restrictions, encourage rapid localization and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration.

    Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping (KT) is a therapeutic tool used to address proprioceptive facilitation; reduced muscle fatigue; muscle facilitation; reduced delayed-onset muscle soreness; pain inhibition; enhanced healing, such as reducing edema, and improvement of lymphatic drainage and blood flow.
